| dc.description.abstract | Η εκπαιδευτική πολιτική μιας χώρας αποτελεί τον κύριο άξονα ανάδειξης του βιωτικού
επιπέδου της. Η οικονομική κρίση και οι αλλαγές στον παγκόσμιο χάρτη, έχουν αλλάξει τα
δεδομένα της εκπαιδευτικής πολιτικής.
Ο στόχος της μεταπτυχιακής διατριβήs είναι η παρουσίαση των εκπαιδευτικών συστημάτων
με κύριο άξονα την οργανωτική δομή στην Κύπρο, την Ελλάδα και τη Σουηδία και τη
σύγκριση τους. Επίσης, παρουσιάζεται ο αποτελεσματικός ρόλος του διευθυντή στα σχολειά
της Κύπρου σήμερα. Τέλος παρουσιάζονται κάποιες απόψεις όσον αφορά στην βελτίωση
του ρόλου τους.
Τα εκπαιδευτικά συστήματα των τριών χωρών παρουσιάζουν κοινά χαρακτηριστικά σαν
συστήματα χωρών της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Από την άλλη τα εκπαιδευτικά συστήματα
Κύπρου και Ελλάδας σαν συγκεντρωτικά παρουσιάζουν αδυναμίες σε σχέση με το
υποκεντρικό Σουηδικό σύστημα. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The education system of a country is considered to be the most important factor in a country,
because it greatly influences the standard of living of the people. The financial crisis and its
worldwide negative effects have led to view education in a different perspective.
This essay aims to present the structure of the education systems of Cyprus, Greece and
Sweden and compare how effective they are. In addition, a lot of importance is placed on the
principal’s effectiveness in the schools of Cyprus today. Finally, it ends with a review of their
role and how they can be more effective in the future.
In the conclusion, the common characteristics of the three systems are presented, while at the
same time it is acknowledged that the education systems of Greece and Cyprus are relatively
weaker than that of Sweden. This is due to the fact that the former are more cumulative,
