| dc.description.abstract | Σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η διερεύνηση της επίδρασης της διεθνούς χρηματοπιστωτικής κρίσης στο Ελληνικό Τραπεζικό Σύστημα. Στο πρώτο μέρος υιοθετείται η μέθοδος της ανάλυσης των σημαντικότερων χρηματοπιστωτικών και οικονομικών κρίσεων του 20ου αιώνα καθώς και η παρουσίαση της εξέλιξης του Διεθνούς Τραπεζικού Συστήματος. Η παρουσίαση των πρόσφατων τάσεων στα δημοσιονομικά και τραπεζικά μεγέθη στην Ευρωζώνη αποτελούν το αντικείμενο του δεύτερου μέρους. Στη συνέχεια, η ανάλυση εστιάζεται στις επιπτώσεις της Ελληνικής Κρίσης χρέους στο Ελληνικό Τραπεζικό Σύστημα. Τέλος, αναλύονται τα αποτελέσματα ειδικού ερωτηματολογίου το οποίο συντάχθηκε με σκοπό τη διερεύνηση των απόψεων στελεχών των Ελληνικών Τραπεζών σχετικά με την επίδραση της Ελληνικής κρίσης χρέους στη λειτουργία των Ελληνικών Πιστωτικών Ιδρυμάτων. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The scope of this essay is to explore the impact of the international financial crisis to the Greek Banking System. In the first part of the dissertation the adopted methodology aims to analyze the major twentieth century financial and economic crises as well as to present the evolution of the International Banking System. The presentation of recent fiscal and banking trends in the Eurozone area constitutes the subject of the second part. Next, there is a focus in the Greek government debt crisis and its effect on the Greek Banking System. Finally, there is an analysis of the results of a special questionnaire which was prepared for the purpose of exploring the opinions of Greeks Banks executives concerning the effect of the Greek public debt crisis on the operation of the Greek Bank Institutes. | el_GR |
