Abstract
The cybersecurity landscape is constantly rising while cybersecurity professionals are expected to keep up with the cyber threat dynamics. To be able to do so, professionals need to demonstrate a lifelong learning attitude to upskill and/or re-skill based on the needs of the role they pursue or hold. Cultivating a lifelong learning mentality should be a priority in formal learning, achieved through learning activities that are mapped to industry needs. Such activities should target to guide learners to identify their skills and knowledge, and to recognize their gap in competencies, considering career roles of interest. This can lead to focused learning and effective professional development. This research work contributes a new curriculum towards this direction, considering post-graduate level studies. � 2023, IFIP International Federation for Information Processing.
